How to write an article for a research journal
A common dream of many researchers is to publish his/her article to a reputed journal. But one has to avoid many obstacles before they can publish a paper into a quality journal.

Obstacle 1 : Preparation of the article

The preparation of a quality article will involve many steps like review of the literature, development of the models or experimental setup, analysis of the results, finding the limitation and future scope of the research etc.

Once the above objectives are finished the next step is organisation of the entire work into introduction, objective, methodology, results, discussion and conclusions which requires a lot of time.

Obstacle 2 : Finding a suitable journal for publication of the research

Selection of a suitable journal for the prepared article is another obstruction one must overcome to publish his/her paper in front of the like minded researchers. This also require a lot of searching, surveying and ultimately analyzing to pin point the journal which will be suitable for publication of the paper.

Obstacle 3 : Getting the approval of the Editor in Chief for Review by the Reviewers

Due to mismatch in scope and other non-research related reasons the submitted article can be rejected with out review by the Editor in Chief of the journal. That is why a well organized and to the point covering letter followed by selection of the lead reviewers from related topics for suggestion is needed.

Obstacle 4 Getting approval from the Reviewers

This obstacle is one of the hardest and steepest of all the obstacles that are discussed in the previous paragraphs. The prepared article has to be approved from the all the reviewers it was send by the Editor in Chief or Associate Editor. Two or three supposedly unknown person are involved to review and suggest about the publication possibility of the paper. If they approve the paper will be published if not then rejected.

Obstacle 5 : Grammar and Plagiarism

The fifth and last obstacle is to get the approval for grammatical errors and plagiarism. Generally both are software based and some bots try to identify plagiarism as well as grammatical mistakes. If such mistakes are found to be more than 25% or above with respect to the entire article then the paper is rejected even if it is approved by the Editor in Chief or Reviewers.

All the five obstacles demand more time from the author. Many authors have failed to avoid these obstacles only due to the lack of or mismanagement of time.

This presentation found in the link below tries to propose a new method for writing research articles within lesser amount of time compared to that taken by the conventional method of writings.
